Outdoor Wedding Details

If you're planning an outdoor wedding, we love the following ideas that will add beautiful special touches to your ceremony and reception.

Hanging lights and outdoor seating

For an outdoor evening ceremony or reception hanging lights from trees in the backdrop really sparkle and look pretty as the sun goes down. Hanging lanterns or tea light candles in mason jars are some of our favorite ideas! Add some outdoor seating under the lights after the ceremony for guests to enjoy.

Lighted tent

Draping lights and fabric really dress up a tent for an outdoor reception. Even you aren't using a tent, string lights look pretty draped under tree branches or pavilions for guests to dance the night away under!

Aisle and ceremony decorations

A decorated arch or a hanging floral backdrop is a beautiful touch to any outdoor ceremony. Flower petals and candles looks so pretty and can really dress up an aisle that looks a little bare. Add decorations to chairs along the aisle as well for some extra decoration.

Sparkler send-off

Sparkles aren't just for the 4th of July! They are fun and celebratory way to send of the bride and groom at the end of the night. They stand out in the dark and look really cool in pictures.

Fall Flowers

While the leaves are changing and the wind is getting cooler in the South, the Georgia Club is busy preparing for beautiful fall weddings.

You've probably heard the rule that you can't wear white after Labor Day, but of course that rule doesn't apply to fall weddings and it definitely doesn't apply when it comes to your bouquet! It might be after Labor Day, but don’t think that means you can’t have the wedding-white bouquet that you have always dreamed of.

Most people associate white flowers with a spring or summer wedding and warmer colors, like deep purples and reds or burnt orange and brown, with a fall or winter wedding. You can incorporate these warm and bright colors into any white bouquet that is perfect for your fall wedding.

Calla lilies, camellias and hydrangeas are beautiful white flowers that are popular in the fall. The classic white rose also never goes out of style.

A bright red accent is perfect for this simple white calla lily bouquet.

Add a fall touch to an all-white bouquet by adding a dark-colored bow.

Have your bouquet stand out even more by having the bridesmaid's bouquets in a darker color.

Adding bright colored accents and greenery along with white flowers is a perfect look for fall.

A beautiful red and black table setting for an indoor reception in our appropriately named Dawgwood Ballroom.

Classic red roses never go out of style and are beautiful at any time of the year.

A white aisle runner lined with red rose petals and candles would be perfect for an outdoor ceremony on our Village Hall lawn or at the wedding pavilion.
